What is a Movement Assessment?

Our detailed movement assessment service is designed to unpack the ways you hold and move your body, providing us with crucial evidence to customise your physio treatment plan.

By better understanding your biomechanical needs, we can figure out how to address pain associated with movement, improve movement efficiency and enhance your performance, providing you with an action plan to help you correct your movement dysfunctions.

Who Should Get a Movement Assessment?

A movement assessment is not for everyone. Additionally, it is not a treatment covered by ACC, though if we believe a movement assessment is necessary as a part of broader physiotherapy for addressing an accident or injury, it can sometimes be included.
